YUPITERU MVT-7300
Physically the MVT-7300 is smaller than previous models such as the MVT-7100 and is around the same size as the Icom IC-R10. Frequency coverage is continuous from 531kHz - 1320MHz with programmable modes of AM, NFM & WFM together with user programmable step sizes.
Operation is very similar to previous Yupiteru models and an owner of any other Yupiteru model would have no problem in operating this new set without referring to the manual.
The MVT-7300 is fitted with an internal analogue speech descrambler and unlike any other Yupiteru model so far has the facility to clone data between two receivers.
From October 2001 a slighty revised version is now available. This allows internally fitted Nicad batteries to be charged whilst an external 12v DC is connected. The unit is now also supplied with Nicads and 12v DC Cigar lighter lead.
