GRE PSR-282

GRE, together with Uniden been one of the most prolific manufacturers of scanners with many of their models being sold under the Tandy/Realistic/Radio Shack badge however in recent years they have started to appear with their own name on them.

The PSR-282 is the latest of a long line of what could be termed entry level models - it offers basic coverage is simple to operate and is relatively inexpensive when compared to some other models.

This new model has increased mmory to 200 channels (over 50 from the previous PSR-244/PSR-275) and also sees the inclusion of 8.33kHz tuning steps on the VHF airband frequencies.

Compact and with a smart design the PSR-282 requires 4 x AA batteries (not included) or can be powered from an external 9v DC Supply. If Ni-Cad or Ni-Mh batteries are fitted in the special supplied holder than these will be charged whilst the radio is un use.

The PSR-282 is easy to use and offers excellent performance - ideal for the enthusiast wanting civil Airband coverage without breaking the bank !
