AOR AR5000 +3 - "The even newer Horizon"

New enhanced version of the AR5000 wide band, all mode base receiver 10KHz - 2600MHz

The AR5000 has, in a short time established itself as one of the most desirable wide coverage receivers on the market.

To compliment the standard AR5000 AOR produce the AR5000 +3 which has the following enhancements over the standard model:

Synchronous AM for enhanced shortwave capabilities. Double side band sync is provided along with USB & LSB sync.

AFC - Automatic Frequency Control will allow exact tracking of unusual band plans and will provide forgiving searching when step size is unknown. The set "jumps" onto centre frequency when a new signal is encountered. AFC and sync AM may be used simultaneously for easy to use auto tracking / tuning of short wave broadcast stations

There would appear to be no plans to offer upgrades for the standard model.
